4th straight win and ive been on every one of them, laying the 1/2 goal 3 times and as nice dog once,, they are becoming a favorite of mine.. do you play the streaky teams,,, our friend jake doesnt believe in streaks, i say you better learn to take advantage of them or they will bury you, in hockey as in baseball a lot of it is not who you bet but how you bet, do you agree mr. bryde..

yes do pay attention to streaks. have chapter in book on them should be done soon. main things are to look how teams do overall, then chart how each ind. team does in same scenario. also like to look for when streak might end. dont have much respect for books, but even they must know when a team has won ten straight, so what like to do is look for value at streak ending, since price/value drops as streak continues. naturally some streaks are subtle and linemakers have no clue. for instance JUST EXAMPLES when road team has scored 4 or more goals in five straight road games; or allowed 2 or more PP goals in five straight home games; or a goalie playing five striaght road overs; you get the picture - streaks arent always just wins-losses or over-unders...

another thing to look for is strategy i use in trends called "interlocking fire", thats where two or more trends apply to a game (preferably three). same strategy can be used for streaks. for instance JUST EXAMPLES if BOTH teams have played five straight overs; or if one club has won five straight playing club which has lost five straight; or if one team has allowed 50 shots for 5 straight games playing team which has fired 50 shots for 5 straight games; again, you get the picture...

do you ever find that over analyzing is a problem? this is not a smart ass question,, if i sit and gather every stinking bit of info that i can find and spend 2 hours on about 8 games, lots of times my picks suck when i do this.. i get a better feel with a little info, watching the teams day in and day out and not trying to predict every little thing.. but then again in the end its Money Management that rules the day, good day sir..

after 2-3 BAD days (not necessarily losing days) the first thing i ask is am i over-handicapping? since i put in 10-12-14 hour days during hockey its a natural question, and occasionally its easy for me to just overlook the obvious plays. also have tendency to look ahead, circle plays for later in week, then forget them/drop them on game day! and naturally those plays -esp. when based on the schedule - usually do well, but i end up talking myself out of it for some reason or another. but since ive been doing it this way (the hockey) for 14 years and have had just one poor year, its tough for me to question technique, habits, procedure...
